Malta

Wedding of Daenerys and Khal Drogo, Great Sept of Baelor, Pentos and King's Landing. It's hard to believe that all of these locations from Game of Thrones series were shot on archipelago that area is smaller than area of Cracow. See some photos from Malta and Gozo islands.

First three days we spent on Gozo – the second largest island of archipelago. The most known points there are Azure Window (where wedding from Game of Thrones was shot) and located nearby Il-Qawra (small harbor connected with sea only by tiny cave-like pass). Although the highest point of Gozo is not that hight, the island is hilly, which we've learnt after renting bicycles for full-day trip.

Next four days we have invested in Malta. I strongly recommed visiting charming city of Mdina – called also Silent City, former capital of Malta. Fans of sightseeing will for sure find something among over 300 sights located in Malta's capital – Valletta. Active people will be interested in a walk along reaching up to 250 meters Dingli cliffs to Blue Grotto. If you don't have absolutely free day to waste, I do not really recommend visiting fish market in Marsaxlokk – in my opinion it's strongly overrated (except from colorful boats!).
